NEC made radios for several manufacturers and comparatively rarely used their own name early on. Here is a lovely example of  a 1960 NEC NT-620.

This model is notable for the V-shaped tuning dial and the grape colored tuning wheel.

Four inches long, it is one of the first truly shirt pocket radios, unusually dainty for  a horizontal radio.
